Everone has biases. What are yours?
We tend to favor the unexpected, the local over the chain, the less crowded over the more crowded. In short, the unscripted moments and unpackaged places that remind us why we want to travel in the first place. Also, if there are three kinds of tourism – cultural, historical, and natural – we have a bias towards natural experiences, and you probably do also if you’re still reading this far into some nutty web site about Alaska. You don’t come to Alaska for the eats and dinner theater and you don’t come to see the history – most of which long ago decayed into the tundra.
